What I ate: March 9th 2016

Today it was pouring so bad all day long. I had a quite busy day and for the most part, except the early morning I was out running around doing things till late. I had no time to cook today at all as I was not home. I did need up having dinner outside....and it was to a buffet. However, I did pick out the healthiest options they had available (mostly seafood). I also had desert which I probably should of skipped.  Even then my calories crossed what I normally eat in a day. I haven't crossed 2000 calorie recommended daily intake but I did cross the 1300 calories allowance I set up for my self today which is why it's not common for me to eat at buffets .....even when trying to eat healthy while there .....I'm good at eating healthy and avoiding French fries, pizza and fried things but the desert is my weakness.

Here is what I had today:

For breakfast I had overnight old fashion oats (1/2 a cup) with  1 cup of vanilla almond milk. I mixed 1 tsp of peanut butter and a sprinkle of unsweetened dark cocoa in it and it ended up tasting like a peanut butter cup :). I topped it with 1 whole sliced banana and 1 tsp of crushed almond. To drink I had coffee with creamer and stevia sweetener and bottled water. Breakfast Cal Intake: 386

For lunch/brunch I had a sugar free chocolate pudding cup. I had a bottled water to drink.  Lunch/Brunch Cal Intake: 60

For dinner I had went to an Asian buffet. I purposely avoided pasta, pizza, or a lot of anything deep fried and heavy. Some of the things  such a crab cake and honey shrimp on my plates where not eaten because they where too oily. For the most part I choose seafood and did eat my sushi, salmon, green
beans, Chinese greens, squid and crab bake, veggie spring roll, and sesame red bean balls. I also had four mini cakes, 1 coconut macaroon, and two mini scoops of coffee and strawberry ice cream. I tired to have a healthier variety in small portions. I had a diet drink and cup of coffee to drink. I didn't feel  overly full after I was done.....but if you look at the calories you can tell they where way out there .....and that is mostly due to the desert. I had a diet drink and cup of coffee with creamer and stevia sweetener to drink. Dinner Cal Intake: 1456

Today's total calorie intake: 1902
