What I ate: February 29th 2016

Hey everyone,

Hope all of you are doing well. So, today was the 29th of February :)). The leap year ....and of course a Monday.

Here is what I had today:

For breakfast I had a  1 1/2 cup mix of 2 different cereal (was out of my own so I kind of improvised for today until I go shopping) and  1 cup mix of regular and almond milk (again trying to use up what I had although I prefer almond milk always). To drink I had coffee with creamer and stevia sweetener and bottled water. Breakfast Cal Intake: 390

For lunch/brunch I had a 1/3 of blood orange and coconut Greek yogurt moose. I had coffee with creamer and stevia to drink and bottled water. Lunch/Brunch Cal Intake: 160

For dinner I had a roasted potatoes and chicken breast with one flour tortilla and pickled jalapeños and spicy banana pepper. To drink I had diet drink and bottled water.Dinner Cal Intake: 605

After dinner I had a cup of coffee with creamer and stevia sweetener  :). Cal : 40

Today's total calorie intake: 1195

What I ate: February 28th 2016+ Weekly Weigh In

Hey everyone,

Hope all of you are doing well. So today was Sunday. Both my official "cheat day" as well as my morning weigh in day. Find out  what I ate today as well as how did I do with my weight loss progress this past week below.

Here is what I had today:

For breakfast I had 2 pieces of French toast with side of one sliced banana, 1 tbsp of Nutella  and 1/4 cup of sugar free syrup. To drink I had coffee with creamer and stevia sweetener and bottled water. Breakfast Cal Intake: 575

For lunch/brunch I had a chocolate cupcake with icing and filling. I had coffee with creamer and stevia to drink and bottled water. Lunch/Brunch Cal Intake: 240


For dinner I had a pizza. I have been craving pizza for a month and a half now but did not have it since I was doing so well with my weight loss the last several weeks and didn't want to mess that up. But I decided to have it tonight, To drink I had diet drink and bottled water.Dinner Cal Intake: 1000


Today's total calorie intake: 1815

Weekly Weigh In: -0.8. Some progress was made, but not as much as I would like. I have to be honest here and tell you that I have been feeling pretty depressed this last week about a lot of things in my private life especially about the weight gain last week. I don't have any intention of giving up but it's been really hard for me after last week. I feel disappointed and like my strength and energy I felt during the last 6 weeks or so has vanished all of a sudden. Loosing weight is not easy in-itself and I feel like I have to fight not only my own cravings but also other people's cravings and bad eating habits that are around me as well,  so it takes double the effort/strength/willpower and sometimes I just feel too tired and I just can't do it. Sometimes I just want to shut down and sleep for hours without acknowledging anyone or anything. I have been doing that this week quite a lot.

Weight loss since the 1st of January 2016: 8.6 pounds

What I ate: February 27th 2016

Hey everyone,

Here is what I had today:

For breakfast I had 1 toasted Ciabatta with 1 tbsp of light butter and 2 tbsp of orange marmalade. To drink I had coffee with creamer and stevia sweetener and bottled water. Breakfast Cal Intake: 400

For my snack I had 1 1/2 red bean paste mochi pieces which I forgot to take a picture of. Snack Cal Intake: 150

For lunch/brunch I had a chocolate cupcake with icing and filling. I had coffee with creamer and stevia to drink and bottled water. Lunch/Brunch Cal Intake: 240


For dinner I had a chicken strip burger (2 strips) on a toasted bun with caramelized sautéed onions, spinach and spicy ketchup. To drink I had diet drink and bottled water I was planning on eating the apple ....but that didn't happen I was pretty full after the burger.Dinner Cal Intake: 500


Today's total calorie intake: 1290

Hey everyone,

Here is what I had today:

For breakfast I had a 1/2 a cup of old fashion oats with a cup of vanilla almond milk. I added 1tbsp of honey and 1 sliced banana To drink I had coffee with creamer and stevia sweetener and bottled water. Breakfast Cal Intake: 385

For snack I had one whole banana. Snack Cal Intake: 105

For lunch/brunch I had a 1 toasted English muffin  with 1 tbsp of orange marmalade with 1 scrambled egg with spinach.  To drink I had coffee with creamer and stevia sweetener and bottled water.Lunch/Brunch Cal Intake: 308

For dinner I had a sautéed spicy potato and smoked salmon wrap and 1/4 of a cup of pickled beets. Dinner Cal Intake: 370

Here is what I had today:

Another week has begun. It's Monday! I'm trying to get back on track and start this week on a positive note.

What I ate: February 21st 2016+Weekly Weigh In

Hey everyone,

Today is a Sunday and as is the custom, my weigh loss journey results for this week are below.

Here is what I had today:

For breakfast I had  2 toasted English muffins with 1 tbsp of orange marmalade and 1 tbsp of light butter. To drink I had coffee with creamer and stevia sweetener and bottled water. Breakfast Cal Intake: 370

For lunch/brunch I had a banana cream swirl cake. To drink I had coffee with creamer and stevia sweetener and bottled water.Lunch/Brunch Cal Intake: 300

For dinner I had a 1 cup of basmati rice with few meatballs in sauce and a hard boiled egg. To drink I had diet drink and bottled water. Dinner Cal Intake: 600


Today's total calorie intake: 1270

Weekly Weigh In: This week I'm very upset. I have gained 3.8 pounds. I feel like even though I do my best at staying positive even when I don't feel like it, I  seriously let myself down this week. The reason - the people who say they support you but when it really comes to acting on it ....really truly don't. In fact they put you in situations knowingly where you easily fail. And they do that after they watched you come so far :(.I have worked so hard the last few weeks. You all know it. The progress I was making had me so happy and proud of myself. Through being sick, through period LOL and cravings, through stress, through being depressed and all. One thing though that was different with all those weeks and this one  week is that the person in question was not around me and this week they where and the difference is REALLY evident. I weighed myself this morning and I started crying.....I really did. It really hurts to work so hard and want to accomplish something so bad .....and know you can do it .....but then allow someone to just mess it up for you because you care for them. It's hard to realize that they don't care nor understand you the way you honestly need them to. It's even harder to realize that no matter who is around you..... With some things you are completely on your own.....no matter what is being said to you.....actions as always count more than words :(.

So this week was a total mess up......I don't even have the words to describe how I feel about it besides those used just now.....all I can say is that I really feel down today. But tomorrow is Monday, so hopefully during next week I can fix whatever I messed up this week. Yes I will be loosing 2 weeks before I can move forward, possibly more (1 gaining unwanted weight.....2nd trying to loose that unwanted weight) but things happen.....all I can do is take responsibility, learn from it, not allow it to happen again........and keep going. I am really sorry everyone :(((

For dinner I had a 1 spinach, feta and salsa scrambled egg, a small potato samosa, 1/2 an egg roll and 3 pieces of smoked salmon sushi with a bit of soy sauce and tamarind sauce. To drink I had diet drink and bottled water. Dinner Cal Intake: 600

Hey everyone,
Today was a bit of a crazy day. I kind of slept at completely wrong times of the day, did not sleep at night and that messed up my meal routine. On top of that I ate out today :(.Unfortunately I did go over my 1300 calorie daily mark today so tomorrow I have to be really really good.

Here is what I had today:

For breakfast I had  4 slices of French Toast with 2/3 cup of frozen berries and 1 cup of sugar free syrup. To drink I had coffee with creamer and stevia sweetener and bottled water. Breakfast Cal Intake: 700
