So last Saturday, earlier in the day I snuck out to have coffee with a friend of mine. We don't see one another often but when we do we always end up doing something relaxing and fun. Saturday though was a rather cold dark day with lots of fog that persistently stuck around until late in the afternoon so all we really wanted to do is hide somewhere warm and cozy with a cup of coffee for a few hours and just catch up.
I chose a fun bright red/orange long sleeve dress by Kensie with black polka dots all over. It was very comfortable with a relaxed fit but also playful and loud due to its beautiful bright hue. I paired it with a pair of nude tights and my tall comfortable suede boots. I accessorized do only with my go to Michael Kors Studded Selma black leather Hanbag and my everyday jewelry. Because it was cold I wore my fur coat for added warmth and that was pretty much it.
My makeup for the day was inspired by one of recent Lisa Eldridge's makeup tutorial videos where she created a beautiful chocolate smokey eye with nude/peachy lip and cheeks. I felt I needed to throw in some brightness into otherwise a very dark and depressing winter day. It could be that I'm anxiously hoping for an earlier that usual spring this year :).
