What I ate: January 13th 2016

Hey everyone, 
Today Mother Nature dropped me of a little gift :(. Not something I am looking forward as each month comes by. I mean the breakouts, bloating, water gain, aches and pains, feeling cold, uncomfortable sleeping, being too emotional and not being able to fit into into anything is surely not my idea of an ideal gift. Why couldn't the Mother Nature drop of a Michael Kors/Sephora/Macy gift card or some chocolate, cake or ice cream instead??? I would of been much more happier with those choices. But .....Oh well!. I guess for the next few days I will be running around in my fleece PJs, robe and slippers drinking lots of tea, taking hot showers, doing facials, face masks,  hair hot oil treatments/masks, manicures and pedicures. Pretty much pamper galore. I  like to stick around the house just catching up on things I can work on from home this time of the month as much as I can and do the best I can to make myself feel better. As far what happens to my weight loss and scale numbers during this time of month, is not of my liking. I usually go up by 2-3 pounds which can be very discouraging. However, because I have been doing this forever I know very well all this "weight" is actually water gain and it all goes away just as quickly as it appeared providing I continue eating the way I normally do and avoid strangling someone for a piece of chocolate. Which can be a challenge during those few blissful days :). However, I am a firm believer in having everything ....even chocolate in moderation so at end of it ....there should be no need for violence :). 

Here is what I had today:

For my breakfast I had a blueberry bagel with 2 tbsp of Greek yogurt cream cheese and 2 tbsp of black cherry raspberry blood orange jam . To drink I had cup of coffee with creamer and stevia sweetener and bottled water. Breakfast Cal  Intake: 355

For brunch/lunch I had plain instant oatmeal with 1/2 of frozen blueberries, unsweetened coconut almond milk, whole banana and bottled water. Cal Intake: 280

I had two chocolate truffles (pistachio and dark chocolate ganache) with my leftover coffee from earlier and bottled water. Snack Cal Intake: 140

For dinner I had a breakfast LOL. I've been kind of weird today with my food. I was craving for breakfast foods all day today long. I  had a toasted Ciabatta filled with 2 scrambled eggs and 1 tbsp of orange marmalade. To drink I had coffee with creamer and stevia sweetener and bottled water. Dinner Cal Intake: 450

 Today's total calorie intake: 1225

And that was it for today,
